We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Johnston‑Willis Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, as a Radiology Technologist Student Extern.
Job Summary
Prepare patients for imaging by obtaining histories, verifying identities, and assisting with positioning while communicating clearly and compassionately.
Safely transport patients between areas, supporting their comfort and emotional needs during procedures.
Set up imaging rooms, manage turnover, and organize supplies to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment.
Serve as a vital connection between patients, technologists, and the care team by communicating needs and concerns promptly.
Take ownership of your growth by participating in learning opportunities and following safety and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of radiography.
1+ years of imaging education completed, or as mandated by state of practice.
