Roles and Responsibilities
Receive, review, and verify prescription orders from the Principal Investigator to ensure study validity.
Prepare and dispense medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and study protocols.
Support pharmacological services by stocking, assembling, and labeling investigational products.
Assist clinical research staff by addressing inquiries and referring complex issues to the Principal Investigator or Pharmacist.
Maintain accurate pharmacy inventory records to ensure smooth operations for ongoing clinical trials.
Ensure a sterile and compliant environment for medication preparation and dispensing.
Follow security and quality control protocols to preserve investigational product integrity.
Meet all study protocol requirements and deadlines, aligning with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
Adhere to all company policies, protocols, and regulatory compliance standards.
Perform other duties as assigned to enable successful clinical research operations.
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or GED required;
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Certified Medical Assistant required.
Previous experience in a pharmacy, clinical research, or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of pharmacy information systems and prescription processing.
Familiarity with regulatory guidelines related to investigational products.
Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and commitment to compliance.
