Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Johnson City, New York.

Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR tech) – Travel assignment

Responsibilities
Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, and other imaging modalities to guide procedures
Scrub in for sterile procedures, pass instruments, and maintain a sterile field
Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details
Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions
Ensure proper radiation safety for patients, staff, and self
Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure readiness for procedures
Manage procedural supplies (e.g., catheters, guidewires, contrast agents) and restock as needed
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to provide seamless patient care
Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols
Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures
Performs other duties as assigned to support IR lab operations
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Valid Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations
PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification
Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
