We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service‑oriented Credentialed Veterinary Technician who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, has experience with x‑ray and proper positioning, understands the importance of client education, and is a supportive and positive team player. Essential Job Tasks
Assists the veterinarian during the examination of animals
Providing restraint as needed in order to work safely and effectively
Prepare and administer treatments, as prescribed by the veterinarian
Collect, prepare, and label samples for laboratory testing, culture, or microscopic examination
Assist in prepping patients for surgery (or an aptitude to learn)
Obtain radiographs of animals with knowledge of proper positioning and techniques
Ensure a comfortable and sanitary environment for all patients
Responsible for the care of boarding and hospitalized patients
Prepare and sanitize the surgery suite – clean and maintain holding areas
Communicate with pet owners using a professional, compassionate, and helpful attitude, using knowledge of preventative health care recommendations to accurately answer questions and relay doctor’s information.
Pay Range: $20.00-$24.00 based on experience and licensure status
