Petroleum Installer III

Job Description
Oversee responsible, safe, and efficient construction operations as the senior installer on a job site. Provide direction and training to lower‑level installers, subcontractors, and other Seneca personnel in the field.

What You’ll Do

50%: Lead jobs – provide direction to junior installers on each job site to meet timelines, plan and review project layouts, update progress via mobile construction applications, and control costs.

25%: Install tanks, piping and other equipment, perform tests, remove and dispose of old equipment, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and operate tools and heavy equipment such as skid loaders, forklifts, and compressors.

15%: Provide direction and training to lower‑level installers on job sites, assist with daily tasks such as site cleanliness, travel reimbursement reporting, equipment maintenance, and navigation of company systems.

5%: Maintain safe operations by directing the installer team and subcontractors, setting verbal safety expectations, and conducting daily toolbox talks, tailgate talks, and pre‑job safety briefs.

5%: Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 4+ years in the petroleum installation field.

Licenses/Certifications: HAZWOPER 40, state‑issued CDL‑A, and state‑issued UST installer license required before hiring.

Technical Abilities: Familiar with field concepts, practices, and procedures; able to perform manual labor, heavy equipment inspection and operation, and basic administrative tasks using mobile devices.

Autonomy/Direction: Works under supervisor or manager, plans and makes decisions independently, and can travel overnight over 50% of the time.

Tools & Equipment: Proficiency with ProCore, Outlook, and general computer programs.
