Job Description
Cook Ford is seeking a motivated Automotive Lube Technician to join our fast-paced service team. This is a foundational role where you will be responsible for performing essential maintenance services that keep our customers\' vehicles safe and reliable.
We aren\'t just looking for someone to change oil; we are looking for a future Lead Technician. We provide the environment, the equipment, and the Ford factory training necessary to help you grow from a Lube Tech into a specialized Service Technician.
Responsibilities
Maintenance Services: Perform high-quality oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication services.
Safety Inspections: Execute thorough multi-point inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brake wear.
Tire Services: Perform tire rotations, balancing, and basic repairs.
Documentation: Accurately record all services performed and document any additional vehicle needs for the Service Advisor.
Shop Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with dealership safety protocols.
Efficiency: Complete all assigned work orders in a timely manner while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Qualifications
Previous experience in an express lube or automotive shop is needed.
Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and hand tools.
Applicants must be able to provide their own basic tools.
Strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow within the Ford brand.
Reliability and a commitment to punctuality.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
