Salt Lake Behavioral Health is currently seeking a compassionate and talented

RN

to serve in a

Hybrid Floor Nurse

and

House Supervisor

position. Shift: Nights, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (Supervisor Hours 7pm-7am, RN Hours 6pm-6am).

Salt Lake Behavioral Health Hospital is a private 118-bed freestanding psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and substance abuse treatment for adolescents and adults. We serve the Salt Lake City and surrounding area using evidence-based treatments in a comfortable, confidential atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Serve as Hybrid Floor Nurse and House Supervisor, a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

Ensure coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with established standards of care, mental health practice, and hospital policy, goals and objectives.

Contribute to the hospital\'s philosophy, objectives, educational and Performance Improvement efforts, while providing supervision to the nursing staff assigned to the unit.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management; Bachelor\'s Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a psychiatric health-care facility. A minimum of one (1) year experience in a supervisory role.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Utah State Board of Nursing

Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification is required. Must successfully complete current training for restraints and seclusions prior to assisting in any patient restraints or seclusions and within 90 days of employment.
