Summary
Provides emergent/urgent patient care under the direction of a physician, physician's assistant, and/or registered nurse.
Compensation and Work Schedule
Pay: $19.10 – $24.83 per hour, depending on experience
Work Schedule: PRN, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Flex
This is an onsite role with no hybrid or remote option
Responsibilities
Perform technical procedures as delegated, including establishing IV access, collecting specimens, providing wound care, and transporting patients
May perform ECGs and vital statistics/telemetry monitoring
Assist physicians and nurses with medical procedures such as examinations, minor surgical interventions, orthopedic treatment, and resuscitation
Report abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to medical
ursing staff
Assist with patient flow and maintain patient rooms clean, stocked, and orderly
Apply critical thinking, decisive judgment, and work independently in a fast‑paced environment
Requirements
Minimum Education: HS Diploma or GED
Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider; EMT with IV certification or EMT‑I; any relevant life support certification as determined by position level
BLS or CPR card must be valid through sixty days of hire, obtained through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer
Minimum Experience: None required
