Purpose Of Position

Freeman Enclosure Systems is seeking an Electrical Helper. The Electrical Helper will support Operations by diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding electronics to support customer requirements.
General Job Description

$2,500 sign‑on bonus.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities

Intermediate in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Install electrical components, equipment, or systems.
Cut metal components for installations.
Measure materials or objects for installation or assembly.
Test electrical equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning.
Repair electrical equipment.
Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand tools.
Ability to bend and install conduit.
Knowledge of NEC (National Electric Code), including wire sizing, conduit runs, and electrical load identification.
Pulling wire, wire circuits, 4‑way switches.
Works with 208 and 480 electrical panels.
Electrical integration understanding with transformers.
Connecting and integrating 3‑phase motors.
Ability to perform electrical tests for continuity.
Demonstrate ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure (test will be required).
Required to follow written and verbal work instructions.
Ability to lift and maneuver components a minimum of 50 lbs.
Flexibility to work in other related departments as required.
Education / Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of on‑the‑job experience in related field or industry.
Must be able to pass pre‑employment background check and drug screen.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to communicate effectively within a team environment.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry equipment or materials up to 50 lbs.
This position involves working in a manufacturing shop setting, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals, requiring proper safety measures.
