Compensation
Hourly wage estimate: $34.67 - $49.59 per hour. Salary determined by skills, experience, and comparison to other employees. Typical candidate hired below midpoint of range.
Job Summary
As a Registered Endoscopy Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care for surgical and GI patients during the intra‑operative period. You will provide safe, effective care until the patient is transferred to recovery and will perform circulating or scrub duties for all age patients.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate knowledge of surgical and GI procedures and oversee instrument and equipment set‑up
Coordinate and oversee the room during a case as the circulator
Facilitate effective and efficient transition between procedures
Utilize preference cards and update them as necessary
Qualifications
Nursing diploma
Minimum two years of experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
RN license required or appropriate compact licensure
Valid BCLS certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable)
ACLS certification required by facility
CNOR/SGNA certification preferred
