Dietary Aide
to join our team at the Skilled Nursing and Rehab campus in Fairview.
Responsibilities
Ability to maintain and self-direct dining responsibilities within a timely manner according to the dining schedule
Prepare workstation for food tray line as well as operating large dining carts with trays of meals.
Serve residents at designated tables following special diets, food and beverage preference, and intolerances
Work position assigned in dish room, assist with maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area by sweeping, mopping, taking care of garbage, busing and washing tables.
Promote a positive work environment through professional conduct, teamwork and a helpful, positive attitude to all co-workers and customers
Support and promotes resident and client rights and allows for privacy, dignity, and well-being of all
Efficient time management and prioritization of work
Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or redesigned depending upon individual circumstances
Participate in staff meetings and education programs designated for attendance
Perform other duties and achieves other results as assigned
Qualifications
Reliable and committed to teamwork.
Compassion for seniors.
Able to work independently and together as a team.
Dedication to maintaining a high standard of customer service.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
Prior senior services or dining experience is preferred.
Schedule And Compensation
Employment type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Schedule: Afternoon Shift (11:00am - 7:30pm); could also fill in for Morning shift if needed.
Weekends: Every other weekend rotation
On-Call: None
Pay Rate: $14.00 / hour
