Yarrawong Preschool and Early Education Centre
Yarrawong Preschool and Early Education Centre is a unique childcare service offering nurturing personal care, child and family focused programs including pre‑school, delivered by a passionate, dedicated, long‑standing team. Focusing on the needs of the child through constructive play experiences, designed to build a foundation for success and confidence in life, Yarrawong P.E.E.C. believes in developing a sense of belonging and has a holistic view of childcare, considering Yarrawong an extension of family life. Smaller in size, each child receives the special attention and personal care they deserve. They offer a comprehensive pre‑school program which gives children continuity right up to school.
As part of the Yarrawong team you will be responsible for providing a safe, stimulating, healthy and caring education and care service which fosters and maximises each child’s individual development potential. A full list of job responsibilities can be found in the position description.

Requirements
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
Working with Children Check clearance
Current First Aid Certificate - Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting
National Child Safety Training on Geccko, or ability to obtain before starting
Demonstrated experience working in accordance with the National Quality Framework in providing an education and care service
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong creativity and problem solving skills
Excellent organisational and planning skills, being able to work to deadlines and set priorities
Demonstrated ability to work and contribute as part of a team
Position Details
Location: Orange, New South Wales
Weekly hours: 38 (flexible working arrangements including rostered days off available).
Weekly salary: $1,390.09 – $1,515.20 (plus superannuation).
This is a temporary position due to parental leave, due to end 24 December 2027.
