Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site Senior Optician role located at Rims & Goggles in Mill Valley, CA. The Senior Optician will provide expert guidance to customers in selecting eyewear that combines aesthetics, comfort, and visual correction. They will oversee lens fittings and adjustments, manage inventory, collaborate with independent designers, maintain a stylish and welcoming showroom, and ensure exceptional customer service. Additionally, the Senior Optician will work closely with team members to uphold the company’s reputation for high‑quality and personalized eye care services.
Qualifications
Expertise in optical fitting and lens adjustments
Knowledge of eyewear trends and independent frame designs
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Proficiency in maintaining inventory and showroom presentation
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Familiarity with optical equipment and technology is a plus
Relevant certification or licensure as an optician, where required
Professional experience in a similar role, preferably in boutique or high‑end eyewear
