About the Role


The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to join their team. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in client support, providing advanced assistance to a large and critical book of business. This role involves leading client meetings, being the main client contact, and managing difficult client communications. The Vice President will also be responsible for account management, including negotiating and selling insurance lines, designing programs for clients, and owning all audit, review, and enrollment processes for their book of business. Additionally, the role requires a high level of expertise in insurance, industry forecasting, and client retention strategies, as well as the ability to mentor and lead a team.

Applicants for the Vice President of Business Development position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of client service and/or claims management experience, or a High School degree/GED with a minimum of 8 years in the same fields. A Producer's License is required, along with the ability to travel up to 25% of the time. The ideal candidate will have a background in insurance, solid financial acumen, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. The role demands a professional who is adept at using technology to enhance productivity, has strong communication skills, and can effectively manage multiple priorities in a self-directed manner.
