Overview
Lactation Educator RN at Providence Newberg Medical Center. This is a part time, day shift position. Typical work schedule is 8:00-4:30PM. $8,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Responsibilities
Accountable for direct and indirect care for infants and women in the inpatient or outpatient clinic setting.
Provide postpartum maternal and neonatal assessments.
Develop feeding plans to address the nutritional needs of the infant that may include but is not limited to breastfeeding support, breast pumping support, and supplementation as appropriate.
Provide lactation support and education to mothers as directed by referral or in the clinic setting after discharge.
Qualifications
Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Upon hire: International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
3 years experience providing lactation care in a Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, or NICU department or in an outpatient mother baby clinical setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree Nursing

Pay Range: $56.76 - $80.39.
