Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapist is dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care that empowers individuals to regain independence in daily activities. This role involves assessing functional abilities, cognitive skills, and sensory processing to identify barriers and develop personalized treatment plans. Utilizing evidence-based practices, the Occupational Therapist provides therapeutic interventions, designs assistive devices, and recommends environmental modifications to enhance patients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functioning.
Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Vocational/Technical School/Diploma – Not required
Associate’s degree – Not required
Bachelor’s Degree – Required
Master’s Degree – Preferred
Doctoral Degree – Preferred
Licensure / Certification / Registration
State of Florida Occupational Therapist License – Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – Required
Experience
Minimum of one (1) year direct patient experience – Preferred
