About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to spearhead strategic initiatives within the private equity, credit, and hedge fund sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative sales strategies to drive growth and expand market presence. This role involves identifying, cultivating, and managing a pipeline of business opportunities, as well as representing the organization at industry events to enhance visibility and foster connections. The VP will also be expected to monitor industry trends, utilize advanced CRM tools, and contribute to marketing initiatives to increase brand recognition.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of 6 years in financial services, fintech, or fund administration, and a preference for those with 10 years in the specified sectors. The role requires a proven ability to sell complex solutions, manage client relationships, and lead RFP/RFI processes. Strong proficiency in CRM tools and the Microsoft Office Suite is essential, as is a high energy, strategic mindset, and the ability to interact with C-level executives. The ideal candidate will have a growing network of fund managers, sponsors, and industry influencers and be available for travel up to 30% of the time.
