What you’ll do
Managing all pharmaceutical inventory, including receipt, storage, and organization of incoming supplies, and preparing and fulfilling medication orders for the department.
Preparing sterile and non-sterile compounds, and accurately repackaging bulk medications, while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Serving as the communication bridge between the pharmacy, patients, and other health professionals.
Efficiently triaging all incoming calls and providing crucial, accurate information to support coordinated and exceptional patient care.
What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
One or more of the following required:
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience. OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
What Additional Preferences We're Seeking
Compounding experience.
