ChristianaCare is looking for a Medical Assistant I for our Medical Advantage Program in Rehoboth Beach, DE. This practice is located at 18742 Coastal Highway Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971. The Medical Advantage Program delivers comprehensive, patient‑centered primary care focused on prevention, wellness, and the management of acute and chronic conditions. Working collaboratively with experienced physicians and nurse practitioners, this role supports high‑quality care across the adult lifespan in a welcoming, community‑based setting.

Work Schedule
Monday‑Friday, 8:00am‑4:30pm

Duties / Responsibilities

Greet and support patients virtually and in person.

Prepare patients for visits, perform basic clinical tasks (e.g., testing, injections, EKGs), assist with exams, and maintain exam rooms and equipment.

Manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling.

Handle clerical duties, troubleshoot video visits, and support patient portal access.

Position Qualifications

High School Graduate or GED required.

Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Hourly Pay Range
$19.10 - $27.69
