Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluation
Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
Completes all necessary documentation
Collaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co‑signature and supervision requirements
Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor
Qualifications
Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice
