The ideal Business Analyst (BA) candidate has 5+ years of business analyst, business systems analyst, and/or business architect experience. In this role, you will define scope, high‑level process flows and business context for several projects of various sizes. You will be asked to define user stories and elicit high‑level and detailed requirements from business stakeholders. Some professional exposure to healthcare is highly desirable with experience in the healthcare payer space preferred.

What you will do at Sogeti
The Project Manager works with business and IT stakeholders throughout the organization to understand and confirm customer requirements and lead project implementations. Project implementation includes planning, executing and closing projects while ensuring they are within scope, on time and within budget. The project manager provides organization and communication during the project lifecycle, as well as managing risk, deliverables, coordinating resource work and managing documentation. Adaptability, risk management, strategic planning and leadership are all important to this role.

What you will bring
Project Management (70%)

Work with business and IT stakeholders and partners to help identify and understand their requirements within the scope of a project.

Ensure that requirements clarify the business value and are accessible and understandable to any team member or stakeholder.

Develop detailed project plans, timelines and budgets while monitoring project progress and adjusting as needed.

Identify and manage risks and issues proactively.

Communicate project status, updates and risks to stakeholders through various channels.

Communication (20%)

A primary skill‑set of a PM is appropriate, timely and polished communication.

The PM is responsible for escalation when required, resolving conflict if needed and working with business segment leads, operations team members and IT team members for successful implementation.

Consultation and PM Practice Support (10%)

The PM will explore ideas, assess current business processes to identify improvement opportunities (technical and operational), conduct gap analysis, and help to develop business cases.

Support creation of test plans / scenarios, post-implementation support requirements, and lessons‑learned.

Use client and industry defined techniques and best practices to aid in all PM accountabilities.

Assist peers to continue to define and develop practice improvements and apply them to the delivery process.

SKILLS/ABILITIES

Ability to manage scope, focus on business value, problem solve, think critically, identify business process improvement opportunities and be flexible.

Industry knowledge of tools, techniques and industry best‑practices for performing data analysis, business process flows and supporting documentation.

Communication (written/verbal) and organizational skills that support an advanced ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management and to gain cross‑functional support.
