Job Summary
Assists with daily living activities
Performs treatments and procedures (e.g., suctioning, catheterization)
Prepares patients for tests and procedures
Administers medications and handles specimens
Sets up IV equipment and infusions
Administers blood products (with training)
Reports and documents patient care
Follows RN direction and supports care plans
Educates and supports patients/families
Assists with rehabilitationEnsures patient comfort and safety
Participates in care conferences
