Responsibilities
Work under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist to provide physical treatment procedures.
Use techniques such as massages, electrical stimulation, paraffin baths, hot and cold packs, traction, ultrasound, and prescribed exercises to improve mobility and relieve pain.
Implement and modify the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment under supervision.
Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.
Qualifications
Earned an Associate’s degree from an accredited school.
Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant/PTA, or actively pursuing licensure.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
