Job Description
Interested in a dynamic, autonomous practice setting, working with a highly skilled and collaborative APP team? Consider joining our ambulatory care Cancer Center Infusion APP team. The Cancer Center Infusion APP team oversees the care of 50–75 patients per day (depending on unit size), covering five infusion centers that provide treatment for oncology and non‑oncology patients. Our APPs triage issues in real time and ensure continuity of care through collaboration with physicians, surgeons, APP colleagues, and other clinical and administrative staff. We also manage higher‑acuity oncology patients in a three‑bed Cancer Center Acute Care unit to minimize emergency room visits and unnecessary admissions.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

Graduation from a California Board of Registered Nursing approved or verified school of nursing with a master’s degree in nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).

Two (2) years of clinical experience as a nurse practitioner in the same specialty and setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

One (1) year of experience in adult critical care medicine as a Nurse or Nurse Practitioner.

Specialty Certifications: OCN or AOCNP.

ECG and imaging interpretation (X‑ray, CT, MRI).

License/Certification:

California Registered Nurse (RN) License without restriction.

California Nurse Practitioner (NP) License without restriction.

California Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number.

NP national board certification from an accepted certifying agency aligned with the patient population and clinical role (e.g., Adult Outpatient, A‑GNP‑C, ANP‑C, etc.).

California Driver License (if required for position).

DEA registration with Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 registered to a California address.

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional required AHA certifications: ACLS.

UCSF Medical Center credentialing conducted through OMAG prior to first working day; approval of standardized procedures typically takes 60–90 days.
