Clinical Details
- Role: Psychiatrist
- Responsibilities include providing mental health services, administrative and clinical coordination, and direct patient care
- Participate in civil commitment proceedings and provide DSM diagnosis
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications
- Supervise and mentor facility-based mental health staff
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling
- Assist in developing treatment and therapeutic programs
- On-call status required
Requirements
- Five (5) years of clinical experience, including two (2) years in a comparable position
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with an advanced degree in psychology or a related clinical area
- A valid driver's license
- Appropriate certification or license, or meet educational requirements for licensing in Georgia
- English proficiency: Read, Write, Speak
- Must live outside of a 70 mile radius from site
