Cardiology - Invasive Physician

Join Our Team as a Non-Invasive Cardiologist in Richmond, VA

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our dedicated team at a reputable hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This facility offers a collaborative and supportive environment for both inpatient and outpatient care. With a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations, you will be an integral part of a practice that prioritizes health and wellness in the community. The position involves a mix of outpatient clinic work, inpatient care, and being part of a call rotation. The average number of clinic patients per day is 10, with an average of 12-15 inpatient admissions per physician.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
• Perform and interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs).
• Supervise and support 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs).
• Participate in a call rotation of 1:6.
• Work collaboratively with a small team of cardiologists.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Board-Certified in Cardiology - Non-Invasive.
• Experience in adult and geriatric patient care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Certification - Required.
• ACLS Certification - Required.
• Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship with LVAD experience - Required.
• Active DEA Registration - Required.
• Current Virginia Medical License - Required.
• Clean background check and Self-Query NPDB report - Required.
