Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details
Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week
Work every other weekend and every other holiday
Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically higher acuity units
May be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back
Maintain 4:1 patient ratio on 36-bed medical surgical intermediate care unit
Provide care for patients with heavy telemetry monitoring, stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
Manage insulin drip patients and primary care responsibilities
Work in fast-paced environment requiring independent task completion
Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
Minimum 2+ years nursing experience with stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience required
ICU experience and Trauma Level II experience preferred
Ventilator/trach experience required
At least 1 prior travel experience required
EPIC charting experience preferred
Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
Any color scrubs permitted
Must be located outside 50-mile radius of facility
Clinical interview required
