About the Role


The Company is seeking a Head of Business Development with a specialization in Media & Entertainment and Audio Dev services. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team, responsible for managing a group of Business Development Managers and their own client portfolio. This role is pivotal in driving the company's strategic growth plans, particularly in the creation of original audio assets for games and audio post services for linear content. The Head of Business Development will be expected to influence and lead this critical element of the division, with a primary focus on new business generation and some account management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in generating new business sales, managing a team, and a deep understanding of the media & entertainment and video games market.

Key responsibilities for the Head of Business Development include line management of the BDM team, assisting in recruitment, and ensuring the team meets sales targets. The role also involves networking, relationship building, and working closely with the Managing Director, heads of studios, and Client Partners. The candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in sales, a degree in a related field, and a strong understanding of market trends and customer direction. Core competencies required are strong interpersonal and presentation skills, the ability to work in a matrix management setup, and a high level of energy and stress management. The role demands a self-motivated individual with the ability to operate independently, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel as needed.
