The Commercial & Agriculture Tire Technician provides on‑site tire service and maintenance for commercial, agricultural, and Off the Road (OTR) vehicles. This role performs tire repairs, replacements, mounting, and dismounting while delivering exceptional service to business customers. The technician may also assist with minor automotive maintenance, equipment handling, and inventory management while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational efficiency.
Roles And Responsibilities
Perform tire service on commercial, agricultural, and industrial equipment in the field and at the shop
Mount and dismount tires and inspect damaged or defective tires to determine repair feasibility
Complete tire repairs, balancing, and rotation on a variety of equipment and vehicles
Respond to roadside service calls and provide on‑site support to commercial and agricultural customers
Conduct minor automotive maintenance such as oil changes, lubrication, and accessory replacement when required
Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and service equipment using approved methods and solvents
Receive, inventory, and properly store tires based on size and type; organize tire storage areas
Inspect tire casings and categorize them as reusable or scrap
Build strong relationships with existing accounts while identifying opportunities to grow new business
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to respond to after‑hours service calls
