About The Role
The Manifold Production Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring machinery within the Manifold Production department. In this role, you will learn and develop working knowledge of all department equipment and processes while supporting production, quality and safety standards. The position also includes performing orbital, MIG, and TIG welding on stainless steel components.
What You’ll Do
Operate, maintain, and develop working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the Manifold Production department
Perform orbital, MIG, and TIG welding on stainless steel components in accordance with production and quality requirements
Position parts and monitor equipment during operation to produce product at established production standards
Inspect panels, parts, and welded components to verify specifications and quality standards are met while maintaining production goals
Notify appropriate personnel of quality, equipment, or production issues
Complete production reports and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Use banding equipment and hand jacks to move, store, and organise product and materials properly
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area through good housekeeping practices
Follow all company policies, procedures, and work instructions, including the Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and Safety Manual
Remain aware of your individual impact on quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance objectives, and report all quality concerns, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the appropriate personnel
Additional Expectation
Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle‑blower service.
What You’ll Bring
High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered
3 years’ experience working with manufacturing machinery required
Experience performing orbital, MIG, and TIG welding on stainless steel required
Weld inspection experience required
Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to work effectively and communicate with a diverse workforce
Ability to use various tools and measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, tape measures, dial indicators, and feeler gauges
