Position Summary
This position is primarily responsible for operating workstations and associated systems used in the manufacturing of products sold to our customers. This position is expected to work with lower-level Operators along with higher level Technicians to effectively meet or exceed expectations for product quality and production rates. In this position they must have a basic knowledge of how to set up and operate workstations, perform visual and dimensional inspections needed to manufacture the products at Cirtec.
Key Responsibilities
Works with small devices, performing various tasks with various tools, fixtures, and equipment
Follow established documentation for production manufacturing
Performs in-process visual inspections with and without the use of microscopes
Makes basic measurements and math calculations relative to tolerances, dimensions
As instructed, adjusts machines to achieve conformance with specifications and maximum yield
Perform pre/post-weld operations such as assembly and part cleaning
Performs workstation set-ups and troubleshooting on qualified operations
Support training as needed for Level I and Level II assemblers
Comply with company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED, required
Minimum of 3-years' experience in medical device manufacturing
Laser welding operation experience, highly preferred
Ability to read, write and comprehend English
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Shift Hours
3:00PM to 11:30PM, Monday to Friday
Salary Range
$22 - $24/hour, plus $2 shift differential, based on experience and qualifications
