The ideal candidate is self-motivated and experienced with resolving denied claims and managing a streamlined and effective claims submission process.
Job Title:
Medical Billing & Credentialing Specialist (Part-Time)
Location: St. Louis, Missouri (Remote, In Person, or Hybrid options)
Job Type: Part-Time (approx.
15 hours per week )
Compensation:
$20.00/hour starting
Key Responsibilities
Claims Resolution:
Investigate and resolve denied claims, with a focus on mental health CPT codes (90837, 90791, etc.).
2026 Compliance:
Stay on top of current coding updates, such as the proper use of POS 10 for Telehealth and the new MO HealthNet spend-down procedures.
A/R Management:
Weekly follow-up on aged accounts to keep our practice’s cash flow steady.
Eligibility Verification:
Confirm benefits for new patients to prevent front-end issues.
Experience with Credentialing Support a Plus:
Manage provider CAQH profiles and handle enrollment/re-credentialing for our group.

St. Louis Local Knowledge
Experience with TherapyNotes is preferred.
