Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Refrigeration Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration systems and supporting overall facility maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be willing to assist in a wide range of maintenance tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair industrial/commercial refrigeration systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency
Respond to emergency service calls, including after‑hours and weekends
Assist with general maintenance duties across the facility as needed
Work with pneumatic systems, electrical components, and other mechanical systems
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in varying temperatures and industrial environments
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
Requirements
Must have a minimum of 1 year relevant refrigeration maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, and 6 months of work history in the past 12 months
EPA certification required
Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
Working knowledge of industrial maintenance practices
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Willingness to be on‑call and work weekends as needed
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
