
Receiving Team Lead

Job Summary/Overview: This position will act as the Lead for the Receiving and MMC departments to ensure accuracy and flow of received parts, timely disposition to MMC, input into the storage systems/locations, and onward to the cells. This is in addition to troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
Work Schedule: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Verify accuracy of parts received against purchase orders, invoices, and inventory records.
Communicate with internal customers and external vendors regarding shipment status, parts status, etc.
Identify and resolve receiving and inventory issues.
Assist in developing and improving standardized work within the Receiving and MMC departments as well as improving safety, quality and delivery.
Support collaboration between departments to solve problems and seek solutions.
Work alongside Shipping Manager and individual cells to improve upon receiving and inventory accuracy.
Perform work in a safe manner to keep yourself and your team incident free.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities
Working knowledge of receiving activities and inventory control.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Ability to think abstractly to deal with ambiguous or undefined problems.
Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities to reflect changing needs or job demands.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Basic computer skills.
Required Qualifications
Lead and/or supervisory experience preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift, lower, push, pull up to 40 lbs. safely.
Side‑deck forklift certified and/or willing to obtain. Stand‑up forklift certification preferred.
