CAD Engineer II
Title: CAD Engineer II
Hybrid
Client Location: Cupertino, CA, 95014 or Austin, TX
40 hours/week
Details:
CAD Requirements:
• At minimum 2 years of NX and TeamCenter experience (All other software is irrelevant)
• At least Intermediate level of modeling knowledge including:
o Associative CAD modeling
o Parent/child relationship in NX
o Reference set and Layer knowledge
o 2D creation knowledge
• Assembly fundamentals:
o Local vs Global coordinates
o Assembly constraints vs free moving tools
o Exploded view and assembly 2D experience
o BOM component knowledge
• Surfacing experience a plus
Other relevant traits besides CAD which include:
• Able to proactively communicate with others
• Able to work in a fast pace setting
• Detail oriented in their work in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree, with experience in 2D and 3D CAD design, experience with designing sheetmetal and plastic/injection molded parts, and experience with tolerance analysis, as well as Design for Manufacturing (DFM) capabilities.
Ideal candidate will have several years of experience, particularly using NX CAD software package.
