Job Summary
This faculty position will serve the mission of Morgan State University and the Earl G Graves School of Business and Management through the activities of teaching, intellectual contributions and service.
Job Duties
The person holding this position will be responsible for developing and teaching online and face‑to‑face undergraduate and graduate level courses in Cybersecurity, data analytics, information systems and/or project management. The candidate will conduct research, write proposals and obtain grants in areas of cybersecurity intelligence (forensics, threat mitigation, incident response, security analytics) and/or policy issues such as legal and privacy issues, leading to publishing in refereed journals and presenting the research at local and national conferences and serve as a member of professional organizations. The candidate will participate in Department, School and University committees. Teaching assignments will include courses in our Bachelors program in Cybersecurity Intelligence Management, doctoral and undergraduate courses in Cybersecurity, Data Visualization, Data Analytics, and depending on background and qualifications, may include courses in computer literacy, management information systems, computer networks, systems analysis and design, project management, supply chain management, and enterprise information systems (SAP).
Required Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate must have an earned doctorate (by August 2024) in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computational Statistics, or related disciplines such as Decision Sciences, Management Sciences with research experience in artificial intelligence or quantum computing applied to Supply Chain Management.
Additional Preferences
The candidate should have a demonstrated record of quality research, writing proposals, and the potential for excellence in teaching. Prior work experiences that use related skills are desirable, though not necessary.
