As a Deputy Program Manager at CGI Federal, you will support the Program Manager in overseeing and managing the successful execution of projects and programs. You will play a key role in coordinating project activities, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. Your leadership and organizational skills will contribute to the achievement of program goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
Assist the Program Manager in planning, executing, and closing projects to ensure they meet organizational goals and client expectations.
Coordinate project activities, resources, and information to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, organizational policies, and industry standards.
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
Prepare and present project reports, updates, and documentation to stakeholders.
Support the development and implementation of project management processes and best practices.
Assist in budget management, resource allocation, and financial reporting for projects.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional IT experience.
Active Top Secret Clearance (TS/SCI).
Proven experience in project or program management, preferably in a federal or defense environment.
Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to analyze project data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
