Construction Services Procurement Manager . This organization is in aggressive growth mode, expanding its footprint across North America and Europe, and is positioned to become a global leader in mission‑critical infrastructure.
This role sits within a lean, high‑impact procurement team and will play a pivotal role in supporting large‑scale construction and development initiatives. The focus is not on materials or equipment procurement—this position is exclusively responsible for sourcing and managing
construction‑related service providers .
Position Overview
This individual will lead the
end‑to‑end procurement of construction services , partnering closely with development, design, and project delivery teams to ensure best‑in‑class vendor selection and commercial outcomes.
You will own the full lifecycle of the RFP/RFQ process—from initial stakeholder alignment through final award—while driving cost transparency, scope alignment, and vendor performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead procurement efforts for
construction‑related services , including:
General contractors and trade partners
Commissioning agents and specialty service providers
Manage the
full RFP/RFQ lifecycle :
Scope development and documentation
Bid solicitation and vendor engagement
Cost analysis, bid leveling, and benchmarking
Vendor interviews and evaluation
Contract negotiation and award execution
Partner with internal stakeholders across development and project teams to align procurement strategy with project timelines and delivery goals
Drive
commercial rigor
through pricing validation, scope clarification, and contract structuring
Build and maintain a strong network of qualified service providers to support ongoing and future project needs
Required Experience
5–8+ years of experience in
procurement, preconstruction, estimating, or project management
within construction environments
Proven experience procuring
construction services (not materials or equipment)
Demonstrated ownership of
RFP/RFQ processes from initiation through award
Background in
commercial or industrial construction
environments (mission‑critical or large‑scale projects preferred)
Strong understanding of
project delivery lifecycle , particularly preconstruction and planning phases
Experience evaluating vendor proposals, leveling bids, and negotiating commercial terms
Preferred Background
Experience supporting
data center, mission‑critical, or large‑scale infrastructure projects
Background with a
commercial general contractor or mechanical/electrical trade partner
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Exposure to ERP or procurement platforms (e.g., Oracle, Workday)
