Job Title: NDT (Non Destructive Testing) Specialist
Location: Tukwila, WA
Contract: 12+ Months
1st shift: 7am – 3:30pm
Payrate: $65-70/hour on W2
Job Description
This is a non‑managerial, non‑leadership role supporting the In‑Service NDT team in Tukwila, WA on first shift.
Position Responsibilities
Authors Non‑Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
Incorporates revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.
Develops Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standard.
Performs setup for non‑destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.
Composes procedure Figures providing information on inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe /transducer placement, and notch signal response.
Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.
Required Skills
20+ years of experience in NDI or NDT.
20+ years in aerospace in‑service support with UT and/or ET.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, occasional weekends if necessary.
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
Experience writing UT & ET techniques and inspection procedures.
Preferred Skills
25+ years of related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear‑Wave Testing.
800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET).
Experience with CAD Software.
