About The Role
As a Merchandise Planner on the Inventory Management team, you will help bring the financial strategy of our product vision to life by managing our largest financial asset: our product. You will drive the success of one or more product categories by creating a financial roadmap that aligns with brand strategy and customer needs. You are passionate about using qualitative and quantitative skills in a fashion retail environment, enjoy forecasting and financial planning, and thrive on innovation and delivering an excellent customer experience while exceeding financial targets. Strong analytical, storytelling, and collaborative skills are essential.
What You’ll Do
Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by division and department
Create preseason sales, gross margin, and inventory plans by division and department that support product strategies
Reconcile top‑down to bottom‑up division/department plans
Present financial forecasts and supporting action plans in open‑to‑buy meetings
Reforecast sales and manage inventory for all basic styles to meet department financial goals
Communicate financial results and forecasts to managers and cross‑functional teams weekly
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Merchandising, Visual, Production, Distribution, Planning, and Company Planning teams, setting expectations around prioritization and best practices around key deliverables
Who You Are
Must be proficient in Excel, with advanced technical skills and system savviness
Believes in the power of team, building constructive and effective relationships with a diverse group of business partners
Possesses strong business acumen and strategic agility, able to handle many projects simultaneously while prioritizing workload
Demonstrates strong listening, written, and oral communication skills

Salary Range: $83,000 – $107,900 USD. Pay varies based on qualifications, experience, skills, competencies, and location. Minimum wage or the minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) will apply based on city, county, and state requirements.
