Tremco Incorporated is a leading manufacturer of products for the construction and new building maintenance markets and a fast-growing division of RPM. Our Weatherproofing Technologies Division currently seeks a Commercial Construction Superintendent with a proven track record in running and supervising commercial construction projects to deliver projects on time and within budget.
You will be responsible for jobsite safety, resolving project issues and problems, scheduling and providing coordination between subcontractors and owner operations, ensuring quality and that specifications are followed in accordance with Tremco standards, managing project costs and generating reports on project status, and ensuring owner satisfaction.
This position requires 5-10 years’ experience in commercial construction or 5 years as a foreman. You must be able to keep project records and interface with owners, subcontractors, and Company management. Travel is required.
Additional duties will include participating in the development and enforcement of jobsite safety plans, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts as they affect the aforementioned projects. Responsibilities will also include Sales & Service Support, Field Resource & Customer Management communication as necessary.
Core understanding of general building standards knowledge, scheduling, shop drawing review. OSHA 10 Hour Certification is required. Deep understanding of all construction management tasks, understanding of superintendent roles & responsibilities communications, superior written, oral and digital communication skills, and the ability to create performance reporting.
Computer literacy: Email, web, MSWord, and MSExcel.
The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $20 and $33. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
