
Reporting Analyst III

Salary Range
$49.63 - $69.09 / hour
The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.
Position Overview
As a senior member of the Information Systems team, the Reporting Analyst III provides robust analytics solutions and complex, customized reporting strategies across the application portfolio, primarily focusing on Epic and integrated third‑party applications. This role involves complex reporting support, data validation, data visualization, and support of business decision‑making. The Reporting Analyst III plays a contributory role in the establishment and maintenance of data governance and enterprise analytics.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Five (5) years of Healthcare Information Technology experience
Three (3) years of healthcare clinical and/or revenue cycle reporting experience
Two (2) years of experience as a team lead
ITIL Foundation certification or obtainment within six (6) months of hire
Epic Cogito certification or accreditation
Epic Clarity certification or accreditation
Epic Caboodle certification or accreditation
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
Advanced SQL proficiency
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI
Experience in Microsoft Office 365
Experience leading executive‑level or governance committees
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Leads contributor to the enterprise customization strategy for Epic reporting and analytics.
Manages complex, custom reporting solutions across Reporting Workbench, Clarity, Caboodle, and visualization platforms.
Defines, informs, and maintains data governance standards and reporting best practices.
Develops and oversees KPI frameworks and executive dashboards.
Serves as an escalation point for high‑complexity analytics and data integrity issues.
Partners with leadership, IT governance, and data owners to ensure consistency and compliance.
Serves as a technical mentor and escalation point for Tier I and II analytics.
Performs other duties as assigned.
