Overview
Paramount Skydance Corp. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build advanced AI-powered tooling and internal platforms that modernize quality engineering across the organization. This is not an "in test" role - you will be building production systems, internal platforms, and intelligent automation services that materially improve engineering efficiency. You will lead the development of AI-driven services, RAG pipelines, and automation accelerators that streamline test authoring, triage, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement AI-driven services, micro-platforms, and developer tools that support GQE.
Build and optimize RAG pipelines, embeddings systems, and LLM-powered utilities.
Develop intelligent automation accelerators that classify failures, detect flakiness, and recommend fixes.
Integrate AI capabilities into CI/CD pipelines and existing automation frameworks.
Partner with QE, Platform, and Data Engineering to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and propose functional applications.
Qualifications
4+ years of software engineering experience with robust backend expertise.
Proven experience building production-grade AI or ML-powered systems.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms.
Hands-on experience with vector databases, embeddings, and LLM orchestration.
Experience integrating tools into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Ability to break down complex problems and deliver scalable solutions.
Mentorship and uplift of junior engineers.
Success Metrics

Hiring Salary Range : $110,000.00 - 170,000.00.
Benefits : The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
