REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Gastroenterology patient evaluations

• Medication management and monitoring

• Emergency intervention as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active NY license required

• Board: Board Certified required

• DEA: Not Specified

• Certifications: BLS required

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent experience

• Other Qualifications: Strong communication skills; Epic experience preferred; clean work history required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate and manage gastroenterology patients in an inpatient setting

• Provide patient education on treatments and preventive care

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team

• Refer complex cases to supervising physicians as needed

• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in Epic EMR
