Qualifications
Five years of experience with federal or private sector Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaint processing within the last eight years to include three years of active experience as an EEO mediator.
Or
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or Human Resources and three years of experience with federal or private sector Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaint processing to include three years of active experience as an EEO mediator within the last five years.
Associate must successfully complete the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA), course code 249F, concerning the handling of personal health information as required by HIPAA within 3 months of occupying the position. Until training has been completed, the Associate may not perform any duties relating to personal health information.

– BACHELORS DEGREE - Preferred, BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN HUMAN RESOURCES - Preferred
Major/Minor (one Of)
– BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION - Preferred, BUSINESS MANAGEMENT - Preferred

Experience working with EEOC timelines
Experience with accepting/dismissing EEO claims
Supervisory Experience
Salary Minimum
– $72,064.00
Major Duties
Provide leadership and monitor all phases of the informal and formal EEO complaints process, anti-harassment, and ADR programs to ensure complaints are processed timely and follow guidance, directives, regulations, and applicable laws. Provide final approval of settlement agreements.
Conduct initial review of formal EEO complaints. Prepare recommended action based on complexity. Conduct complaints analysis. Report trends/business information to senior management.
Review Investigations and Resolutions Directorate (IRD) reports of investigation and prepare final decisions for complainant/ Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), if appealed.
Provide technical guidance and compliance assistance to all levels of management for resolution of problems connected with formal and informal complaints of discrimination.
Perform other duties as assigned.
