Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

OB/GYN Locum Coverage

• Seeking Board Certified OB/GYN for urgent locum coverage (May July, ongoing potential)

• Mix of hospital call + clinic coverage (must be willing to do both)

• Call ratio 1:4; minimal call-back volume

• Practice includes 4 physicians with OBHG support, surgical assistants, and nursing staff

• Facility: 9 L&D beds, 20 postpartum; 2 3 nursery admissions/day

• EMR: EPIC

• Required procedures: C-sections, vaginal deliveries, D&C, ectopic pregnancy, ovarian torsion, abnormal bleeding (MFM handles high-risk)

• Laborist covers unassigned patients

Additional Details:

• Coverage due to provider leave; must cover listed dates

• Credentialing days (temps possible with clean file)

• Travel covered; local candidates preferred

Requirements:

• Active VA license, DEA & CSR

• Board Certified (ABOG), BLS

• Clean malpractice/background

• NPDB (within 30 days) required for submission
