Job Description

Key Job Responsibilities
Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
Install fiber and copper cabling and patch equipment.
Maintain proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
Follow well‑established hardware installation procedures and break‑fix activities.
Safely use material‑handling tools and equipment.
Travel within and outside the regional work area; maintain a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.
Essential Requirements
Ability and willingness to travel or commute between data center locations as needed.
Willingness to temporarily work at alternative sites during training periods.
Travel frequency will vary based on business needs and operational status of assigned facility.
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Physical Requirements
Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; may participate in group lifts of 41+ pounds.
Work in a 24/7 environment, including primary responder rotation and after‑hours support as needed.
Operate in cramped, elevated, and/or noisy environments.
Engage in bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing, and walking for up to 8+ hours a day.
Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely.
Basic Qualifications
1+ years of computer networking experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current, active U.S. Government TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
Other Information
Location: USA, MD, Jessup – 27.00 – 48.00 USD hourly.
Travel may involve distances over 50 miles and requires a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
