Job Responsibilities
Serves as institution business manager.
Entering shopping carts, purchase orders, and work orders.
Serves as the institution IRC sponsor; audits special funds; maintains petty cash and meal tickets.
Keys inmate payroll for SC CJA work detail.
Answers KIOSK requests from inmates regarding E.H. Cooper account activities.
Makes bank deposits to Cooper trust fund and special funds accounts.
Processes and submits requests for printing services.
Complies, accounts for and files all business office financial transactions and receipts in accordance with policy.
Acts as backup to the institution's human resources.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
A high school diploma and work experience directly related to the area of employment.
A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer 2 years of accounting or accounting-related experience.
