An outpatient dental clinic in Northern California is seeking a Locum General Dentist to provide coverage due to a long-term permanent vacancy. This opportunity offers a stable weekday schedule and the chance to serve a diverse patient population in a community-focused practice.
• Outpatient dental clinic setting
• 50/50 mix of pediatric and adult patients
• Provider must commit to a minimum 3-month assignment (with option to extend)
• Chart closure required within 72 hours
• Supportive clinical team and structured workflow
• Tuesday Friday 7:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment due to long-term permanent vacancy
Credentialing Timeline:
• Approximately days (around 6 weeks)
• Outpatient setting
• EMR: Wisdom / Epic
• No hospital call
• Decision typically made within 7 14 days
• Active California License REQUIRED
• Active DEA prior to start REQUIRED
• Board Certification NOT required (Board Eligible accepted)
• Must be willing to work at least 3 months No exceptions
Credentialing Immunization Requirements:
• Flu Vaccine
• TB Status / Chest X-ray within 90 days
• MMR Immunization or Positive Titer
• Hepatitis B Immunization or Positive Titer
• Varicella Immunization or Positive Titer
• Tdap within last 10 years
