  • Otherwise, typically no daily rounding on patients.
  • Call Schedule: (includes credentialing for Chambersburg & Waynesboro)Weekend coverage:yesNight call:yesCall rotation schedule: 1 week/monthCall types (inpatient/phone/both): bothFrequency: 0-2 calls/day (regular ED or hospital consults typically)Schedule: Amount of coverage needed per month: full time coverage.

  • Locums schedule can be made out as far as the need is approved.
  • Workflow:Walk me through a typical day for the provider: Clinic 8-430.
  • May take secure chats from hospital during clinic hours.
  • Inpatient consult before/after clinic.
  • Clinic Hours:20 minutes for Pre-Treat (pt's being seen before treatment) and for established follow ups.
  • 40 minutes for New Hem consults and Hospital follow ups (if needed)60 minutes for Hew Oncology consultsProviders also cover as a supervising provider for a morning and an afternoon each week.

  • Adults/peds: no pedsOncology vs hematology breakdown: 2/3 onc, 1/3 hematologyClinical Scope:Types of cases typically seen: typical lung, breast, protate, colorectal , and some outliers (community center), some blood cancers sent out.
  • DO not provide inpatient chemo.
  • Targeted therapies onboarded at tertiary center typically.
  • Will you accept a medical onc.
  • That does hematology cases?: Potentially Infusion/Treatment:Infusions handled in clinic: Our clinic is part of our provider practice.
  • We treat our hem/onc patients.
  • We primarily administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy therapy, IVIG, IV iron, and non chemotherapy injections.
  • Infusion center on site: see above - Chambersburg and Waynesboro Hospitals have infusion centers to support port labs/infusions/injections and transfusions.
  • They don't administer chemotherapy.
